In Barcelona they are preparing for the next school year 2023-2024 with the opening of two new municipal kindergartens in the districts of Les Corts and Horta-Guinardó.
Also with the expansion and renaming of two other municipal kindergartens in the districts of Sant Martí and Nou Barris.
For this reason, and in order to publicize these new developments and provide information on existing municipal day care centers, open days will be held.
The open house will take place from April 12 to May 4, inclusive.
In addition to in-person visits to daycare centers, online information sessions will also be held.

About Barcelona’s municipal daycare network
In total, the municipal kindergarten network will consist of 105 educational facilities, managed by the Municipal Education Institute of Barcelona.

In addition to the open days at the municipal kindergartens, open days will also be held at the city’s five municipal music schools.
This conference will take place from April 15 to 26, both dates included.
It is important to note that the submission of the pre-registration application will be done telematically from May 4 to May 17, 2023, both dates included.
However, and only in exceptional cases, during the same dates of the conference, families may pre-register in person, always by appointment.

Barcelona’s municipal kindergartens are about to open their doors for the 2023-2024 school year.
Next school year, municipal day care centers will have a total of 8,891 places, which represents an increase of 303 places compared to the previous school year.
