A new taste at the top of Barcelona: Tibidabo restaurant

Barcelona’s culinary scene is about to get a magical, flavorful twist thanks to acclaimed chef Rafa Zafra’s new project. He plans to open a restaurant in the iconic Tibidabo Amusement Park, a place that already leaves anyone with their mouths open, and not just because of the views. A new gastronomic bet

With spring 2026 as the opening date, the long-awaited restaurant will be located in the historic Masía building in Plaza del Tibidabo. Under Zafra’s baton, the establishment will offer dishes designed for all audiences and palates, without neglecting the high quality and culinary ingenuity that have characterized the chef’s prestigious career. The facilities include indoor dining rooms with capacity for 170 diners, a terrace with space for 130 people and a viewpoint room where you can enjoy the city from above.

A project with a vision

Behind this ambitious project, we find the architect Dani Freixes, who has led the rehabilitation of the Masía building to transform it into a unique restaurant. Known for his ability to create unique spaces, Freixes has designed a place where light, color and ambiance adapt according to the needs of the moment, ensuring that every visit is a welcoming experience.

Freixes has spared no detail. The interior design has taken the park’s imaginary as a reference, making use of light games and projections that will change the space depending on the time of day, or the type of event being held there. In addition, the remodeling not only includes the dining areas, but also the kitchen areas, ensuring maximum comfort for all visitors.

This new restaurant represents an ambitious project with the intention of expanding the leisure and experience offerings of Tibidabo Amusement Park.
