To kick off these festivities, from today the Sagrada Familia will be wearing a large star that will illuminate the entire city from December 8.
The star is 12-pointed and is located on top of the Mare de Déu Tower, so the pinnacle reaches 138 meters high.
From December 8, the star and the Tower with its 800 windows will be lit every night to welcome the Christmas holidays. It will be a historic moment for our city and its inhabitants.

The giant piece is made of glass and steel. It weighs about 5.5 tons.

On the occasion of the inauguration of the Tower of Mary and the spectacular star, La Sagrada Familia wants to celebrate the event and celebrate the Christmas festivities.
