The Digital Arts Center of Barcelona, IDEAL, presents until September 4, 2022 “Pericot: Expanded Art”, an exhibition that will make you live an immersive experience in the world of the artist Jordi Pericot.
Pericot is the greatest exponent of kinetic art in Catalonia and this exhibition is the best tribute to his work.
The exhibition is composed of several original works by Pericot and immersive and interactive installations by different digital artists. You will be able to get into their world to play.
The curators of the exhibition are Imma Fondevila and Silvia Imbert. They have been in charge of coordinating different installations created by studios, artists and top-level experts.
Pericot: Expanded Art
Jordi Pericot has distinguished himself by giving an ingenious twist to artistic expression, integrating movement and kinetic art.
He also used technology and computers applied to art.
This sensational artist in his 90s says that throughout his life he has sought to study and reflect, to build on debris and find the playful corner of the serious.
The exhibition is open to adults and children from 3 years of age. If the children are under 3 years old, admission is free.

- 25 original works of the Espai d’Art Cinètic Jordi Pericot.
- Other interactive installations by digital artists.
- You will enjoy an immersive room, a painting room, a 3D room to use glasses, all in a spectacular space of 1000 m2 of immersive projections.
