After not taking place last year, the ninth edition of the Barcelona Beer Festival 2021 (BBF) returns to La Farga de l’Hospitalet.
The festival that will run until December 19 brings different musical and gastronomic activities for you to enjoy during the weekend.
More than 575 beers produced by 250 different brands will be present at La Farga. This is because the BBF will focus this year on the “emerging nomads”, those breweries that do not have their own brewery.
During the last year, these proposals have emerged as a sign of innovation in the beer market.

- The event went from having 110 beer taps (in 2019) to 161 by this year 2021. Thanks to this, you will be able to discover the 575 beers offered by the BBF.
- Another attraction this year is the presence at the festival of Cascade Brewing, one of the most prestigious and renowned breweries in the United States (Portland). It is distinguished by the use of wooden barrels for beer maturation.
- You will be able to taste new styles, such as the Italian Grappe Ale that fuses the best of beer with the best of wine.
- You will also find mixed fermentation sour beers.
For its part and within the framework of the Barcelona Beer Festival, the Spanish Brewers Association will present the “Estudio de Cerveza Artesana España.
