The Barcelona Beer Festival 2022 in its tenth edition, is the most prominent craft beer festival in southern Europe. And it is coming back stronger than before the pandemic.
If you are a lover of beer in all its splendor, this is the best time of the year for you. Between October 14, 15 and 16, 2022, you will find a variety of exclusive international beers, along with the best national and local offerings. In addition, parallel activities and different gastronomic pairings.
A whole world of beer will be gathered at the Activity Center of La Farga de L’Hospitalet: more than 500 beers, a hundred shooters, DJ, live music, games and performing arts.
In fact, tribute will be paid to the science fiction film “Forbidden Planet” by the distinguished and very brewer Jaime Martín. One of the highlights will be the Barcelona Beer Festival, BBF, Cask Revolution, which this year also pays tribute to the germ of the BBF.

The BBF was born as an inspiration from the English festivals. And for the 2022 edition, the event invited 10 friendly breweries to brew their beers in a classic UK cask.
All these guest beers will have a “cask”, served without machine or pressure, only by gravity, very much in the English Real Ale style.
There will also be very exclusive breweries from Poland, Scotland, Italy and Germany (in this case the best of the country selected by the Berlin Beer Week).
But the Festival will also exalt the local in terms of zero kilometer beers: it will be the best springboard for consolidated and emerging local beers made in Catalonia. This group also includes those with international projection or productions so small that it is only possible to taste them on site.
The other novelty of the event is that if you attend you will be able to enjoy pairing spaces open to all attendees, a sample of gastronomic harmonies.
