This drawing festival will take place the weekend of October 28-29, 2023, and promises to be an exciting experience for artists and drawing enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels.
The great novelty this year is the inclusion of an evening schedule on Saturday, extending from 19:00 to midnight. During these hours, young people over the age of 16 and adults will be able to immerse themselves in a diverse program of artistic activities.
The daytime program presents an impressive total of 33 workshops led by different artists throughout the city of Barcelona.
These workshops will be held in a variety of venues, including museums, schools, civic centers, theaters and other cultural spaces distributed throughout the various districts of the city.
The event is co-produced by the Picasso Museum and the ICUB (Institut de Cultura de Barcelona), which guarantees a quality cultural offer.

Eva Lootz: This artist will invite you to draw haiku inspired by Matsuo Basho at the Fundació Suñol. A combination of poetry and art will come together in this creative experience.
Marta de los Pájaros: She will give a collage workshop at the Born Centre de Cultura i Memòria. Collage is an artistic technique that allows the combination of different visual elements in a single work.

Acoto Conesa and Siddharth Gautam Singh: The authors of this year’s poster will lead a workshop at the Picasso Museum entitled “El rastre com a únic dibuix possible” (The trace as the only possible drawing). A unique opportunity to learn from the creators of the festival art.
A tribute to Picasso
The Barcelona Dibuixa festival is an annual celebration that pays tribute to the great Spanish painter Pablo Ruiz Picasso, who was born on October 25, 1881. In fact, the event takes place during one of the last weekends of October, as a way of honoring the life and work of this illustrious artist.
Best of all, most of the activities are free of charge. No pre-registration is required and you can attend at any time during the schedule of the activity that suits you best.
Activities are designed for ages 5 and older, with some exceptions that require a minimum age of 16. More information at: barcelonadibuixa@bcn.cat
