Gimena Mattolini, the chef and the soul of the place, is truly passionate about cooking, music and literature. Her love for fresh ingredients and homemade recipes is reflected in each of her dishes. But Gimena’s story is anything but predictable. Trained as a midwife in Mendoza (Argentina), she left everything to come to Barcelona and start a career in the world of cooking. She worked in top restaurants (Hotel Conde de Barcelona, among others) until the world of catering caught her. There she developed the skills that she now applies in the café.
