The prestigious European Scientific Conference on Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases, ESCAIDE 2023, will be held in Barcelona, according to the Ministry of Health.
The international event will bring together leading experts in the field of infectious diseases and epidemiology from Europe and around the world.
The Barcelona City Council celebrated the news that recognizes the city as a “scientific and innovation capital”. In addition, the choice of Barcelona highlights the prestige of the city’s research centers, health professionals and hospitals.
The last two editions of the medical contest were conducted online due to Covid restrictions. However, this year’s next edition (November 23-25 in Stockholm, Sweden) is expected to be back to normal. There will also be face-to-face sessions combined with virtual sessions.
In this sense, it is worth mentioning that by 2023 Barcelona is expected to recover the normality of such an important event. It will also be held in Warsaw (Poland) in 2025 and in Prague (Czech Republic) in 2027.
