The event, which was scheduled to take place between February 1 and 4, 2022 at the Fira, was postponed. The ISE audiovisual fair in Barcelona will take place three months later.
The first edition in the Catalan capital was in 2021 and in virtual mode, as it was traditionally held in Amsterdam (Netherlands).
The new dates will be May 10-13, 2022 at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via.
Integrated Systems, Events, ISE General Manager Mike Blackman said that after an agreement between owners, exhibitors, Fira and interested parties, the date change was decided.
All in order to “balance the safety and health concerns of attendees, with the need to revive commerce and interaction between people”.
The growing wave of the omicron variant in Spain forced the event to be postponed.
ISE Barcelona: your new home
Having moved the event to a spring date in the city of Barcelona, allows more time. This is in order for participants and the industry to resume international meetings and travel with confidence.
The goal is for ISE 2022 to be a total success for exhibitors and visitors alike, as it has been for nearly two decades now.
The home technology industry is looking forward to the event to meet again in person. Therefore, the return will be highly anticipated.
