The 35th edition of this exciting event will take place over three consecutive days, October 6-8, 2023, at Barcelona’s Estació del Nord. During this time, the station will become a mecca for vinyl record lovers, and best of all, admission is free.

The Record Fair with vinyls for all tastes and eras

The fair offers a unique opportunity to buy vinyls from different periods and musical genres. Whether you are a fan of classical music, rock and roll, jazz, pop or any other genre, here you will find a wide selection of records that will surely pique your interest.

In addition, this show is known for attracting U.S. retailers and distributors offering first editions of some of the most iconic rock bands of all time. It is an exceptional opportunity for collectors and music fans who wish to hold unique pieces in their hands.

Live music and additional entertainment

The Fira Internacional del Disc de Barcelona is not only a place to buy vinyl; it is also a place where music comes to life. During the event, DJ sessions will provide the perfect soundtrack for this musical experience.

In addition, you can enjoy live presentations of new musical works, masterclasses and activities such as a photocall to take home a souvenir of your visit.

The fair’s director, Pere Terrassa, pointed out that vinyl is experiencing a resurgence in popularity. In 2022, sales of music in vinyl format surpassed those of 1987, clearly indicating that this old music playback format is back in full swing.

Terrassa also points out that interest in vinyl is not limited to a more mature generation, as new generations are also discovering and appreciating the beauty of vinyl records as collectible and artistic objects that can be proudly displayed.

How much is the entrance fee to the Record Fair?

The daily ticket is priced at 6 euros and if you are a Carnet Jove holder, you can enjoy a discount and get your ticket for 5 euros. For those who wish to enjoy the fair for the full three days, a special season ticket is offered for 12 euros.
