The study was advanced by the British mortgage consultancy Online Mortgage Advisor based on this formula for “calculating” the beauty of cities.
He proceeded to apply it to buildings in more than 45 cities around the world, in order to find out which had the most beautiful architecture.
According to the analysis, calculations and measurements, the study showed that the most beautiful city in the world is Venice in Italy, followed by Rome and in third place Barcelona.

In terms of buildings, the Hospital de Sant Pau in Barcelona achieved an almost perfect score of 93% above buildings in cities such as New York, Athens and Paris.
