Next October 2022, Barcelona will host “The World’s 50 Best Bars” awards. As the venue of the event, it will become the cocktail capital of the world around this time.
Since 2002 and for the first time in its history, the most important meeting of the cocktail world will be held outside London.
The company Comercial Escolà, with more than 50 years of tradition in the wine and spirits market, will be in charge of bringing the event to the Catalan capital.
For his part, the director of “The World’s 50 Best Bars” explained why Barcelona was chosen. It was in order to “support the growth and notoriety of the Barcelona brand as a reference destination for gastronomic leisure and cocktails”.

During the event, the city will welcome more than 1,000 international guests. Also to the best bartenders and cocktail bars in the world.
In addition, the event will also coincide with the celebration of the Barcelona Cocktail Experience, between October 1 and 9, 2022.
Barcelona Cocktail Experience aims to bring together more than 75,000 people and will hold the Spirit Essence contest. This is the only team cocktail championship. Around 280 professionals will participate and the final will be held on October 5.
