Who doesn’t like croquettes? These delicacies, which originated in the neighboring country of France, have been welcomed in Spain and are now almost part of our gastronomy. In fact, it is difficult to find a traditional tapas bar without croquettes. Well, today we are going to tell you about a corner in the city dedicated exclusively to croquettes; yes, where you can find croquettes of a thousand colors and flavors.
Despite the current times, some people dare to take the plunge and start their own business. And the Piera sisters are a good example of this; despite the crisis they have seen an opportunity in croquettes and have bet on it.
A little over a year ago, after much work and effort, they opened the doors of Pepa Croqueta, a store dedicated exclusively to croquettes. Here you can find all kinds of croquettes, from traditional chicken croquettes to more innovative truffle or honey croquettes, there are even chocolate or orange flavored croquettes for dessert.
Affordable prices and within the reach of any pocket… The croquettes are sold frozen in packages of 6 or 12 units, packages of 6 cost 4.50 euros and packages of 12 cost 8.50 euros. Depending on the flavors, they can be somewhat more expensive, as is the case of the truffle or pheasant croquettes, which cost 5.50 euros for half a dozen and 10.50 euros for a dozen.
If you are a croquette lover, you can’t miss it.
