The new edition of the Cruïlla music festival at the Forum of Barcelona, which will run until Saturday, July 9, 2022, has already started.
It was inaugurated with high expectations after two years of inactivity, for which the presence of more than 25,000 people per day (90% local public) is estimated, in a space of 100,000 square meters.

Jordi Herreruela, director of the festival, emphasized that the objective is for the public to dance and participate in the best and biggest festival in the city.

To make sure there is plenty of dancing, the event will feature a varied line-up of great artists and performances. For starters, it will feature the presence of the incomparable Rubén Blades and Juan Luis Guerra for attendees to dance and enjoy to the fullest the day scheduled for Saturday.

They will also be there during these days:
- Hip-hop, the one destined to the kids with Tote King, 31 Fam or Rels B among others.
- Residente, Stay Homas, urban music by Miss Bolivia and veterans Molotov. On Friday Jack White (rock), Rigoberta Bandini (pop), Sleafor Mods (proletarian hip-hop), Hot Chip (electronic dance pop) and Duran Duran (80s nostalgia).
- In addition to music, the festival will also feature humor and comedy in a 5,000-person tent. Also with a dance show with the Brodas Bros, urban art and a photographic exhibition in tribute to Xavi Mercader.
Cruïlla is characterized for being a sustainable festival that avoids air travel. To this end, it hires local suppliers, uses non-plastic cups and different strategies to solve environmental problems that may arise.
