As a whole collection of the galactic saga was born the Alien Museum of Barcelona, a space of 65 square meters where you can see up close the aliens of the film.
A collector channeled his passion for the saga and its characters and managed to create the museum with extraordinary scenarios such as the “Nostromo”, Alien’s spaceship, but in Barcelona.
It all started by collecting figurines, other objects and material of the saga. The creator of the museum is known in networks as Luis Nostromo. Nostromo is the ship where 41 years ago Alien, the eighth passenger boarded.
Since he was 12 years old, Luis has been collecting replicas, figures and original objects of the saga and spent a little more than 15 thousand euros. Already with so many objects he began to need space and so he began to build a spaceship that he eventually turned into a museum.
Little by little, the collection room was transformed into the same scenes of the film. In the museum you will not only be able to appreciate the work of ambience but also art made from plastic, wood and recycled items.
What is the Alien Museum in Barcelona like?
It is divided into four sections, all equally interesting to know:
The first two are recreated sets from Ridley Scott’s first film. There you will be able to see the Nostromo, the room with the laboratory and several details that will take you back to the movie. Then you follow the path to the Narcissus, the ship in which the protagonist Sigourney Weaver uses to escape from the main ship.
The third section is Hadley’s Hope gallery faithfully adapted from James Cameron’s film. There you will be able to see full-scale models of the extraterrestrial and original objects from the film production dating back to 1986.
The fourth section is called “El Matadero”, a place where you will be able to see the most special pieces. You will find recreations and elements of “Alien 3” and in general of all the movies of the saga.
Although the museum is not open to the public, you can visit after making an appointment via Instagram or email luisnostromo@gmail.com

What else you can see in the museum
Panels with lights everywhere, hand-held flamethrowers and a motion detector that can warn you if something is approaching. Between the ceiling louvers, don’t be surprised to see a shivering shadow. Maybe something like an Alien.
The thing is, if you do get to scream out of fright, it’s not likely that anyone will hear you because the whole place is soundproofed. Further on you will enter a darkness with a faint mist and flashing light, not knowing what you may encounter or contact there.
