Salvaje, this new Japanese cuisine and sushi fusion restaurant, is an oasis in the middle of the city. The place has everything you need to succeed in the heart of Barcelona in the middle of the busy Enric Granados street.

From the moment you enter the place you will be able to disconnect from stress and integrate into another reality that will transport you to a pleasant atmosphere for a few hours. At the entrance, you will already find a beautiful terrace decorated with large tropical plants and lawns.

When you enter, you will see a large bamboo bar where drinks are served. Then you will see a very different space than you can imagine, it is something like a cave.

It is a whole new concept with a cozy architecture that divides the space into small corners that invite comfort and relaxation.

Just at the back of the place you will find a large teepee and under it, tables to eat.

In the center of the site there is a music table that, although it is not a dinner show, it is a restaurant that offers a concept of artistic innovation and haute cuisine.

On Saturdays you can enjoy Monkey Brunch with drinks and delicious food until 6pm.

Japanese cuisine and sushi fusion

Salvaje offers a menu based on the fusion of Japanese-Mediterranean cuisine with a strong influence of South American flavors, as the first location was opened in Colombia.

The creator of this sensational restaurant is chef Fermín Azkue, well known for his gastronomic career in London and in different parts of the world.

As part of his travels, he shared the kitchen with Japanese chefs specialized in the traditional gastronomy of this country. There he was inspired to give life to Salvaje.

Some of the dishes on the menu are: Spicy tuna stuffed with tuna and other delicacies such as chives, wanton crispy, spicy mayonnaise, avocado topping and tofu feta base.

Another specialty of the restaurant is the Spicy salmon stuffed with salmon, spicy mayo chives, wanton crispy avocado with salmon topping and passion fruit and eel dressing. Mushroom dumplings, beef demiglass, with Maitake mushrooms and truffled cream.

Omakase experience in Salvaje

The restaurant offers its diners all this variety of Japanese cuisine and sushi fusion in the middle of an Omakase experience.

Experience means “putting yourself in the hands of the chef”. There is an exclusive space for 14 diners in one night, who can sit down to taste the most exquisite dishes prepared by the hands of the chef himself.

While he prepares them, he will offer a detailed explanation of the ingredients and how to prepare the dish, interacting with his guests during the evening.
