However, if you like to discover new melodies and musical talents, you can’t miss the great music phenomenon that comes not from America or Europe, but from Asia: K-pop.

Great representatives of the genre such as BTS, Blackpink or Seventeen will be part of the first Asian and K-pop music festival in Europe. It is worth mentioning that this particular genre is in full swing and at the Bubble Pop, -the name of the festival- you will be able to enjoy the most popular artists and songs.

Bubble Pop, the K-pop festival that will be the talk of the town

For this first edition of the Bubble Pop festival, which will take place on July 1 and 2 of this year, it will feature the presentation of great artists of the genre. LeeHi, who has 500 million views on YouTube, will perform for the first time in Barcelona and REI AMI, who is famous for hits such as “freak, DICTATOR” and “Snowcone”, it is worth mentioning that this will be her first international performance outside the United States.

Other artists that stand out in the line up of the festival are Superorganism, which is a band led by Orono Noguchi, a singer originally from Tokyo, the group stands out for very popular songs like “Something For Your M.I.N.D.” or “Everybody Wants To Be Famous”.

They are followed by South Koreans JUNNY, in their first concert outside Asia, oceanfromtheblue, who will present their new album, Xooos. The natives of Japan DONGURIZU will arrive with electronic rap to get you dancing. Finally, producers MACROS 82-99 and Vantage, who are exponents of future funk, will perform.

It is worth mentioning that tickets are already on sale at a price of 58€ for the weekend pass and 38€ per day. In this regard, the organizers of the event have stated that they tried to adjust the price thinking specifically about the target of the event, which corresponds to people between 16 and 35 years old.

More than music!

It is worth mentioning that in addition to music, the festival will offer a great gastronomic offer, comic sales stands and a space dedicated especially to the sale of art.

On the other hand, you should know that the festival already has its own mascot: the bubbly Bubbly, created by the authors of the poster Hanavbara, twins from Barcelona. In addition, Alex and Paula Diaz, who have a million followers on social networks and who also contributed to the design of the new festival’s poster.

What is K-pop?
