How “The Barcelonian” was born
This sensational and colorful project was born during the confinement thanks to the impulse of Luisa Vera on Instagram @thebarceloninaillustrated.
Luisa is an illustrator who, although based in Barcelona, lived and worked for many years in New York.
In pandemic he posted his cover designs on this social network creating an imaginary magazine. It was very well received by his colleagues.
In fact, some of them have joined this exhibition.
Luisa Vera’s next goal is to publish a book with the illustrations published on Instagram. It will be in collaboration with the Barcelona City Council.
