The Manolo Bakes coffee and bakery franchise will join the celebration of World Croissant Day in Barcelona.
On January 30, 2023, it will give away 10,000 croissants in several of its establishments in Spain, including the Catalan capital.
These ten thousand gift rolls are part of its daily production, estimated at 70,000 units of this bread of French origin.
The bakery announced that starting this year it will do something special to celebrate this day.
The only thing you have to do to get the free croissants, is to go to the franchise stores in Barcelona, but not located in a shopping mall. The promotion does not apply to these stores.
Please note that the campaign will only take place next Monday, January 30 to commemorate this world day.
However, the brand has not yet revealed what you will have to do if you want to get a “manolito” (the little croissant), either salty or sweet, with chocolate or pistachio, for free.

And it is well worth keeping an eye out for the selected points of sale in Barcelona and other cities, so that you can enjoy these tasty mini bites as part of a delicious breakfast or snack. They will also offer gluten-free options.
In addition to Barcelona, the brand will also hold tastings on January 30 in Madrid, Zaragoza, Seville, Valladolid, A Coruña, Valladolid and Valencia.
Although the chosen locations are not known at this time, if you are close to any of the bakery’s locations, don’t think twice and go to one of the locations (other than those in a shopping mall).
Manolo Bakes in Barcelona
After succeeding in Madrid and other cities in Spain, the bakery arrived in Barcelona in 2020, a city that has been key to its expansion.
Its first store was in the Glòries shopping center in Barcelona, which started with a staff of 18 people.
One of its star products are its famous manolitos (exquisite mini-cranberries), which curiously were born by mistake when they were prepared with too much butter. Thanks to this, they were able to create a sweet, tender and truly amazing roll.
Currently, their products are recognized and demanded throughout the country, in fact, they are the second most sold product through Glovo in Madrid.
For the brand, Barcelona has been a challenge since it started in the city. The other advantage is that the rolls are very easy to share, economical and a delicious snack in the office world.
They also offer exquisite coffee and other baked goods.
