With an investment of 1.5 million euros, the concessionaire Nova Bocana Barcelona opened in 2022 the viewpoint in Barcelona that connects the new mouth with the beach.
The viewpoint over the sea has already been opened to the public under the name of Vela, which can be accessed by a stairway and a walkway. Best of all, you can have a 360º panoramic view from there.

Because from the new viewpoint you can see the beach of Sant Sebastià (just below), and the rest of the beaches.
Also Barceloneta, the towers of the Vila Olímpica and the Fòrum in the background.

For his part, the Port’s president affirmed that thanks to this connection work, the city now has six kilometers of uninterrupted coastal promenade.
Nova Bocana Barcelona pointed out that the viewpoint was the solution to a problem because there was no continuity to tour the area. Previously it was not possible to walk along the beach promenade (Mare Nostrum, the Rosa dels Vents square (which is next to the hotel) and the breakwater.
