If you’re a horror movie lover, love Halloween or just enjoy a good dose of scares, this place is tailor-made for you. It is Horrorland, a horror theme park.
It will open its doors just half an hour from Barcelona in the Illa Fantasia park, Finca Mas Brassó s/n, Vilassar de Dalt, Barcelona. The park has free parking.
From October 12 to November 18, 2023, this amusement park will take you into a world of nightmares and spooky entertainment. Keep in mind that the park opens earlier than the scheduled time, so it is best to arrive perhaps an hour before the official opening time.
Horrorland offers an experience for all ages, different attractions for all the brave.
In addition to the thrilling attractions, the park will feature mystery performances, such as “Tutmosis: The Extreme Awakening,” which will transport the public to ancient Egypt to solve riddles among mummies; “Nigrum Mortem,” which will take them back to the time of the Black Death; and “Magicween,” a children’s show that will follow the most famous Halloween characters.
There will also be spooky flavors to recharge your batteries. Visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of dishes at the food trucks that will be available until the wee hours of the morning. In addition, every day there will be entertainment shows and fireworks.
Get ready for the horror! Live a unique experience at Horrorland
Horrorland will become the first Scream Park in Spain and Southern Europe and is scheduled to open next fall. It is the perfect place for lovers of dark landscapes and strong emotions.
The event is organized by Horror Box and Insomnia Corporation and will feature live actors and several houses of terror.
The event will be for only 15 days. Although not recommended for children under the age of 13, children may be accompanied by an adult to a show just for them.
Dates, times and tickets to keep an eye on
Horrorland dates and times will be very limited, and seating will also be restricted. In October, the opening days will be October 11, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27 and 31, from 6:30 pm to 0:30 am.
In November, you will be able to enjoy the experience on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th, during the same night schedule. Tickets will have a base price of 45 €.
Attractions that will test your bravery
Horrorland promises to offer at least five different houses of terror, plus a scape room and a special area called the “Cabroworld Game Zone.” There will also be a “Scare Zone” to interact with actors and a “Food N’ Drink Zone” where you can rest and recharge your batteries. One of the park’s biggest mysteries is the “Extreme House,” an attraction that is still kept secret for which you must pass through haunted houses.
