The Gran Teatre del Liceu brings back special performances dedicated to people under 35 years of age. If you meet this requirement, you can purchase tickets at 20 euros for the previews of “Wozzeck” and “From Scheherazade to I, Carmen” with “food stands” and DJ.
The previews will be on two dates: on May 20, 2022 at 7 p.m. will be the opera “Wozzeck”, and on May 26, 2022 at 7 p.m. will be the dance show “From Scheherazade to I, Carmen”.
But the biggest novelty of these performances is that once they end, the party returns to the Liceu with a musical session in the Foyer, where you can enjoy a DJ set, dancing, food and bar service until midnight.

About “Wozzeck”.
It is an opera by Alban Berg, an essential work in the history of 20th century music. It is a work where music and drama merge, where the story of a soldier victim of the cruelty of the army’s experiments is told. He will be reduced to being an object filled with anger and self-destructive jealousy.
About “From Scheherazade to I, Carmen”.
Version of the choreographic work “Yo, Carmen”, where María Pagés and the writer El Arbi El Harti delve into female empathy through the sentimental history of the women protagonists. A work without fear or connotations imposed by the patriarchal gaze.
The “Liceu Under 35” initiative seeks to break with the elitist image of the theater and bring opera closer to the younger generations.
