Jamboree’s little sister, Jamboree 3, will open its doors on September 10, 2022 at Plaza Real in Barcelona.
And it will open with a showroom and herbalist’s shop along with exhibitions, a concert hall and cultural events.
At present, the space (basement) is under construction in order to adapt it. It has a surface area of 200 m2 and can seat up to 100 people.
As usual, the program will follow the line of the company Mas y Mas with jazz and blues.
From jazz to urban and hip-hop and of course, flamenco.
In fact, Joan Más, director of Mas y Mas Festival along with the original Jamboree and Los Tarantos, already completes three venues for parties and jazz sessions in the city.
What’s new in the Jamboree 3 room
In addition to concerts and exhibitions, Jamboree 3 will also have room for conferences and book presentations and a curious herbalist’s shop inside.
The goal is to place the venue in the heart of Barcelona’s cultural scene as a benchmark for jazz in Barcelona.
The September opening will begin with a photographic exhibition of performances from the past few years in the original Jamboree room.
In addition, if you want to try delicious drinks, the place offers a menu of cocktails, herbal teas and herbs that you can taste or buy.
In the herbalist’s shop you can find a wide variety of herbs and plants that will be on sale until midnight.
Jamboree 3: Plaça Reial, 18, a store that from 1940 to 1978 was a herbalist’s, health food and natural food store.
