Mar de llums de Nadal is the most beautiful light show that the Maritime Museum of Barcelona performs by the sea. An artistic show that integrates lights, sound, technology and live music.
The show will run from December 1, 2022 to January 8, 2023. And all in honor of Christmas: time for gifts, family, flea markets, but also for colors, lights and shows.
Therefore, for this Christmas 2022, the Museum will integrate the tradition of the cultural heritage of Barcelona with the striking Christmas lights in its new artistic creation.
It will be the best integration of technology, music and lights to provide an unforgettable show for young and old. A unique experience to enjoy at the end of the year.
Mar de llums de Nadal: a unique Christmas show
The best mix between tradition and modernity where the sea will be the main protagonist, along with the facilities of the old Drassanes Reials of Barcelona which, in 1976, were declared Historical and Artistic Heritage.
The tour begins in the garden of the museum from where there is access to the Gothic architectural complex of the Reales Atarazanas. It then continues through the interior of the facilities to finish in the Baluard Gardens, the last bastion of the walls of Barcelona.
Behind the doors of the museum are the historical galleries of the city where a stage is located that allows attendees to enjoy the sea, boats and live musical performances by the musical groups Vozes and Fundació Catalònia.
Mar de Llums de Nadal is a light show that is complemented by the museum’s iconic pieces, the wonderful building, the Christmas motifs and the music.
It will be a fascinating experience where nature and traditions come together to brighten up these dates and give a touch of color to the end of the year.

Schedules
From Monday to Sunday in 8 shows from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with the last access at 9:30 pm.
On December 24 and 31 and January 5 there will be no box office or show.
Rates
Monday through Thursday:
- Adults: 12€.
- Students: 10€.
- Children under 16 years old: 8 €.
- People with disabilities/reduced mobility: 6€.
Friday to Sunday and holidays
- Adults: 24€.
- Students: 24€.
- Children under 16 years old: 10 €.
- People with disabilities/reduced mobility: 8€.
