The Spanish government seeks to save on electricity bills and not to make cuts in the service. Therefore, as part of the package of urgent energy saving and efficiency measures, it limited the use of heating and air conditioning in public places.
The measure applies in workplaces, businesses, cinemas, hotels, stores and transportation(train, bus, subway), not only in Barcelona but throughout the country.
In this regard, in public places, heating should be kept at a maximum temperature of 19 degrees in winter and at least 27 degrees in summer.
This was discussed yesterday by representatives of the Spanish Government in order to urgently implement the measures in search of energy savings and efficiency.
