Macaulay Culkin are shooting a movie in Terrassa. Directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia, the film is being shot at the Parc Audiovisual de Catalunya, which is very close to Barcelona. At the time of this publication, the actors were reportedly filming interior scenes.

This film was co-written by Gaztelu-Urrutia and Pedro Rivero and produced by Spain’s Nostromo Pictures and Pablo Larraín (Fabula Productions). Larraín is the director of major hits such as No ( 2012) and Jackie (2017), which starred Natalie Portman.
Rich Flu would be Gaztelu-Urrutia’s second film. His first feature film was the Basque-Catalan production El hoyo ( 2019), which starred Iván Massagué, Antonia San Juan and Zorion Eguileor.
In 2020 El hoyo received the award for best film at the Sitges Fantastic Film Festival. In that same edition, the director also received the Citizen Kane award as the festival’s revelation director.
