After 25 years in the city, Manga Barcelona moves venue and date of celebration. The 2022 edition is scheduled from December 8 to 11 and will be held at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via, pavilions 4, 5 and 6 of the Gran Via.
For about 10 years the event was held at La Fira Barcelona Montjuïc, but due to the great reception in the city, they had to think of a larger location and be able to have more space.
Barcelona Manga: an unprecedented success
And all the changes and adjustments were made due to the last edition of the event, which took place from October 27 to November 1, 2021 and was a total success.
In fact, tickets for the Manga show sold out at that time in less than 24 hours and they had to release more tickets for sale.
Last year was a very exciting year as it was a return to face-to-face attendance after the previous edition was held online due to the pandemic.
Although there will be full capacity, the authorities will seek to maintain the necessary sanitary measures such as the use of masks, due to the large number of visitors expected.
Extensive programming is planned, with streaming and other events dedicated to comics.
There will be concerts, contests, workshops and you will be able to tour the entire exhibitors’ area. It is an event not to be missed.
