Barcelona will be transformed into the epicenter of creativity and Do It Yourself this weekend with the arrival of the Handmade Festival.
This great craft event will bring together workshops, conferences and presentations at the Fira Barcelona exhibition center from Friday, March 31 to Sunday, April 2.
The festival celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, which makes it even more special.
For her part, the show’s director and CEO of Evient Eventa, Anna Ventura, explains that “the tenth edition will be very special because it is an achievement to reach a decade thanks to the dedication and trust of the participants.
It’s all thanks to the workshop participants, the public, the exhibitors and all the people who make the festival a reality”.
The Festival will bring together inventors, exhibitors, creators and teachers of handicrafts and crafts.
Together they will seek to learn, share and enjoy a community of ingenuity and creativity.
At the event you will find ideas, products and a large number of professional experts in each art. You will be able to talk with them and be inspired by their work.
You will also learn about the latest developments in the sector in terms of materials and techniques.
Handmade Festival: The creativity fair at Fira Barcelona
The aim of the festival is to go beyond the simple act of shopping.
The organizers are looking for attendees to learn, stimulate creativity and be inspired together with the handmakers to make works and handmade arts a reality.
And for this, in this edition will participate great influencers of the moment. One of them will be the queen of crochet, SusiMiu, who has more than 234,000 followers on Instagram.
Oh mami! will also be present, whose YouTube channel has more than half a million subscribers.
Olivia Lopez, from Needlebox, will be offering a sewing and embroidery embossing workshop.
Magalí Bertón of Atelier del Álbum, with a flower pressing and sustainable bookbinding activity.
Among other activities, the festival offers different workshops and lectures, as well as spaces to share time and knowledge with the masters of the sector.
