The best “Scream Park” in Europe returns to Barcelona for this Halloween with innovative shows and shocking terrifying experiences. Horrorland Barcelona opens its doors from October 15 to November 13, 2022 at the water park Illa Fantasia, Vilassar de Dalt, just 15 minutes from the Catalan capital.
This will be the fourth edition of the horror event that was acclaimed in Spain. This “Scream Park” or “Parque de Terror” in Spanish, is a temporary theme park whose central theme is terror.
It does not have roller coaster-type mechanical attractions. But offers eight passages of terror of the highest level thanks to the detail of each character and the scenography.
In Horrorland Barcelona your nightmares come true.
If you love fear, Horrorland is the place to be. You will have many scares as you travel through its passages, and in some of the routes you may even be touched, cornered or separated from the group.
In addition to terror passages, there are also other attractions such as the “sustomathon”. It’s kind of like a TV show where you are locked up with killers that you must run away from in order to survive.
The shows take place during the night and culminate with a “cavalcade” of the characters and a fireworks display.
The novelty this year is that the fun continues until the closing with an “after party”.
For 2022, the “Extreme House” returns. It is a house of terror in which the experience is personal and of a very, very high level of terror compared to the horror passages. And it is so special that it is paid for separately, in fact they are the most expensive tickets and only suitable for seniors.
It should be noted that it is not designed for children. And that nChildren under 13 years of age are not allowed to enter, although if they do, they must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Passages of terror in Horrorland Barcelona
Horrorland 2022 will feature eight terror passages:
McAbro:
A fast food restaurant staffed by killer clowns.
Day of the Dead:
Mexico’s darkest day.
Urbex Z:
travels through the subway area of a city taken over by zombies.
Hell Cell:
A maximum security prison where all the prisoners rebel against authority.
“Haunted Game”.
(new 2022): no information available.
Surely a terrifying surprise.
Survival Maze Arena
(renewed 2022): survive in a TV show where you are the main character: you must survive six assassins.
Cannibal Expedition
(renewed 2022): in the middle of the jungle, a cannibal tribe awaits you.
Extreme House:
you pay extra and it’s only for people over 18 years old.
It is the ultimate experience you can live in Horrorland.
With the general admission ticket you will be able to access each of these experiences once, except for the Extreme House.
