Although the City Council increased the number of people who could visit it, the available tickets for the Factory of the Kings of the Orient have been sold out for the second time. The show will take place at Fabra i Coats -Sant Adrià Street, 20– and will be held from December 28 to January 4 inclusive, between 17:00 and 21:00 hours.
Tickets to the Factory of the Kings of the Orient are free of charge and sold out one day after being made available to the public.
According to the City Council, several servers had been set up so that many people could get tickets at the same time. However, it appears that it still failed to anticipate this year’s demand.
The launch included 3,800 tickets for the show that were available from 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 14, but the servers crashed due to high demand. Service was restored at almost 11:00 am and the remaining tickets were sold out in just one minute.
7,700 new tickets sold out in less than 10 minutes
At 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 15, the City Council issued 7,700 new tickets, which were sold out in just 9 minutes. No further tickets are planned to be issued.
How did the City Council manage to issue 7,700 new tickets? Simple, the consistory has increased the number of people –from 32 to 96– who will enter per pass. Visitors will be divided into 3 groups that will be in different rooms and will not coincide in any way in the same space.
Congratulations to those who will be able to enjoy the show. The rest of us mortals will watch other Christmas shows.
