Begur Beach
This summer is the ideal time to do it. The Costa Brava is composed of several beaches of which we suggest you to know initially the one of Begur that has a great variety of landscapes. There you can enjoy a delicious swim and the best views of the Mediterranean Sea.
Platja del Racó Beach
Then continuing from north to south, you can go to Platja del Racó located on the border with the neighboring town of Pals. It is an extensive beach of fine sand just at the southern end of one of the longest bays of the Costa Brava from the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà to the port of l’Estartit. From this beach you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Medes Islands.
Many of these beaches are connected to each other by beautiful, well-marked, safe and pleasant coastal paths. While walking along them you can have wonderful views of the coast.
Illa Roja Cove
Just walking along one of these paths from Platja del Racó you can reach the Illa Roja cove. This picturesque and beautiful nudist beach is well known internationally for its size, great beauty and especially for the huge reddish rock located right in the center that gives the beach its name.

Sa Riera Beach
Continuing to the south appears Sa Riera beach, one of the longest in Begur with 300 meters long and located about 3 kilometers from the urban area. There you will find a great variety of restaurants and bars and a wide range of sports and water activities. On both sides of the coast you will see two smaller beaches: Cala del Rey and Cala Port des Pi.
