Next Friday, February 4, 2022, El Poblenou will have a parade of lights as part of the new edition of the Llum de Barcelona festival.
The event recovers its usual space and prominence after the pandemic.
The great parade full of color and light, will be one of the novelties of this version of the festival in the city and will run until February 6.
This year’s guest artist is Antoni Miralda, who will lead the parade with his concrete mixer design.
After the tour, the installation will be on static display during Saturday, February 5 and Sunday, February 6, in a lot on Pere IV street at the crossroads with Ciutat de Granada.
A spectacular parade of lights and color that adorns Barcelona
The festival, one of the most anticipated events in the cultural calendar of the city, recovers El Poblenou as the main stage, which in 2021 was held in November.
The festival will take place from the Disseny Hub Barcelona (main venue), to the Torre Glòries through the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
Schedules
Friday, February 4 and Saturday, February 5: from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.
Sunday, February 6: from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Admission to the shows is free and reservations are not required.
The return of the festival to the traditional stage of other years is eagerly awaited.
What is recommended, however, is to be alert to last minute changes in conditions due to the pandemic situation.
