Pastelería Hofmann, recognized as one of the best in Catalonia, has recently opened a new store in Barcelona.
This new bakery is located at Avenida Pau Casals, 5, in the upper area of the city. With this 100-square-meter establishment, the pastry group seeks to get even closer to local customers and expand its presence in Barcelona.
The opening of this store represents an important milestone for Hofmann, as it is in addition to its store in the Born neighborhood, which has experienced a 40% increase in turnover over the past year.
On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, the opening of this new bakery marks the beginning of a new phase for the group.
Hofmann Pastry Shop and its variety of products
At the store on Avinguda Pau Casals, customers will be able to find a variety of outstanding Hofmann products.
Among them are the iconic croissants filled with mascarpone, chocolate, raspberries, ham and cheese.
These delicious croissants have become a favorite among customers, selling around 750 units a day at the Born store.
In addition to croissants, the bakery offers a wide selection of pastries and baked goods.
Customers can enjoy cinnamon rolls, pistachio rolls, bonbons, chocolates, jams and a wide variety of cakes.
In particular, during this week, the star is the coca de San Juan, which includes both the traditional version with cracklings and the new addition, the Sacher coca.
A growing business
With this opening, Hofmann’s turnover is expected to increase by 60%.
In addition, Silvia Hofmann, president of the group, is exploring the possibility of opening boutiques outside Barcelona, maintaining the same values of quality and excellence that characterize the brand.
The new pastry shop on Avinguda Pau Casals has a minimalist and elegant design, similar to the style of a jewelry store.
Hofmann’s handcrafted creations, created by the talented pastry chef Miquel Guarro, are on display in this exceptional space.
The products will be prepared in the Born’s bakery and sent to the store twice a day, ensuring the freshness and quality of each piece.
Among the product highlights are the magnificent boxes of chocolates, delicate cookies and tea cookies, as well as individual pastries that have received praise from customers.
In addition, traditional and seasonal products, such as monas, panellets and cocas de San Juan, will be available in the store. In particular, a Sacher cake has been created that promises to be an irresistible delight.
Demand for these products is expected to be quite high. Hofmann aims to sell around 30,000 pieces of pastries per month in the new store.
