This initiative seeks to celebrate the prestigious sporting event and was baptized with the name America’s Cup Menu. It is worth mentioning that it has the collaboration of Moët & Chandon, whose Brut Imperial champagne is the perfect complement to accompany the dishes designed by the market’s chefs.
La Boqueria, a symbol of Barcelona’s gastronomy, wanted to join the spirit of celebration of the America’s Cup, the third most important sporting event in the world. To do so, it has taken advantage of its wide range of fresh and proximity products. This highlighting the quality that characterizes the ingredients that traders offer daily in this iconic market.
Special menus for the America’s Cup
The menus offered by the different market restaurants are varied and stand out for the freshness and quality of the ingredients. Some of the participating establishments and their proposals are:
- El Kiosko Universal: Featuring a seafood grill for two, a dish that captures the essence of the Mediterranean.
- El Quim de la Boqueria: Offers a more elaborate menu, which includes an appetizer of Mediterranean scallops, followed by fried eggs with squid from the coast, grilled Iberian prey with basil risotto and a refreshing lemon sorbet with aromatic herbs.
- Bar Quiosc Modern: It offers a barbecue that includes sea bass, cuttlefish, razor clams and mussel shrimp, a perfect marine feast to share.
- El Ramblero: It also adds to the seafood grill, putting in value the seafood products so characteristic of Catalan cuisine.
- Bar Central and Mític Bar: Their proposal is even more sophisticated, with a menu that includes a duo of natural and marinated oysters, followed by a shrimp esqueixada with tomato tartar and onion confit, and for the main course, an exquisite cod in pil-pil sauce with tomato confit with rosemary.
- Clemens Boqueria: Offers both a seafood and vegetable grill, for those who prefer a vegetarian option.
- Bar Boqueria: This establishment has prepared a tasting menu that includes a variety of small dishes, such as a salmorejo bomb with Iberian ham, squid fritters, salmon tataki, Wagyu ravioli, and to finish, a cheesecake.
All menus are accompanied by Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial champagne. This detail elevates the culinary experience by combining local flavors with one of the world’s most iconic beverages. These menus will be available throughout the duration of the America’s Cup. Thus, attendees and visitors will be able to enjoy a first class gastronomic offer while celebrating this sporting event.

The Councilor for Commerce, Catering and Markets, Raquel Gil, was present at the event, along with the market’s president, Jordi Mas, and Moët & Chandon’s brand ambassador, Xavier Monclús.
