This coming Saturday, December 21, at 21:30h, Allende presents his album: ‘Invisibles’ in Barcelona, with a concert at La sala Slow Barcelona, (Carrer de París, 186).
Access will be free until full capacity is reached, with the possibility of making a voluntary donation that will go to refugee children or victims of child poverty through the NGO Save the Children.
The media agree that Invisibles is a serious and exciting rock album, with poetic lyrics committed to humanitarian causes, in which the Cordobeses maintain the elegant style that has always characterized them and with which, in addition to the drama of the refugees, they delve into topics such as the magical territory of childhood or the pursuit of dreams.
The song ‘Invisibles’, which gives its name to the album and is perhaps the most
representative of the album, speaks of the invisibility of refugees.
The album cover is also a tribute to the thousands of people who have lost their lives trying to reach our shores. The photograph, by Germán Muñoz, was taken on the beach of Los Lances, in Tarifa (Cádiz), where 30 years ago the first corpse of a migrant person was found trying to cross the Strait of Gibraltar in a skiff.
ALLENDE is the proof that solidarity rock and lyrics with a message still exist. Committed rock, which in the case of this band from Cordoba, also has as its main standard bearers the melodies, both vocals and guitars, and a strong and compact rhythmic base.
