Barcelona’s markets are preparing to adjust their schedules during the Puríssima long weekend and Christmas festivities. Here we tell you about the variations in the opening hours of some of the most important markets in the city.

Opening hours and days of service in Barcelona’s main markets by the end of 2023
La Purísima Bridge:
- Boquería: During the Purísima long weekend, the usual schedule will be maintained, except on Wednesday 6 and Friday 8, when the market will be open from 8 am to 8:30 pm.
- Encants Fira-Bellcaire: Closed on Tuesday 5 and Thursday 7. Open Wednesday 6, Friday 8 and Sunday 10 from 9 am to 5 pm.
- Leseps: Normal opening hours, except Thursday 7, which will be open from 8 am to 8 pm.
- Sagrada Familia: Thursday 7 will be open from 8 am to 8 pm. It will be closed on Wednesday 6 and Friday 8.
- San Andres: The usual schedule will be maintained, with no changes.
- Sant Antoni – Encants: Usual opening hours, except on Wednesday 6 and Friday 8, when it will be open from 10:30 to 14:30 h.
- Santa Caterina: Usual opening hours, except Wednesday 5, which will be open from 7:30 am to 6 pm.
- Sant Martí: Thursday 7 will be open morning and afternoon, from 7:30 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 8 pm. It will be closed on December 6 and 8.

Schedules established in some markets for Christmas Day
- Barceloneta: Usual opening hours, except Friday 22nd open from 7 am to 8 pm and Sunday 24th from 10 am to 3 pm.
- Bon Pastor: Usual opening hours, except on Sunday, December 24, open from 9 am to 2 pm (bar closed). On Sunday, December 31, it will be closed, and on Friday, January 5, it will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. (the bar from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
- Boquería: Usual opening hours, except on Sunday 24 and 31 December, open from 8 am to 8:30 pm.
