The third edition of the Sala Barcelona concert series returns this summer with an impressive program at the Castell de Montjuïc.
This emblematic venue will host some twenty performances in its parade ground, creating a magical atmosphere to enjoy live music.
This year’s lineup stands out for its diversity, inclusion and plurality, offering a space for artists of different genres and styles.
The third edition of Sala Barcelona is a co-production between the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona and the concert halls integrated in the ASACC (Associació de Sales de Concerts de Catalunya).
After the pause due to the pandemic, this concert series returns stronger than ever, supporting the city’s concert halls and offering a stage for emerging and established artists.
Program of the concert series Sala Barcelona third edition
The singer of flamenco fusion music, Queralt Lahoz, will be in charge of inaugurating the cycle on Thursday, June 29.
Throughout the summer, every Thursday until September 21, there will be a series of performances that promise to delight the audience.
From guitar nights with Bala or Exnovios, to African rhythms by Alma Afrobeat Ensemble or Kwame Adzraku, to the electronic music of TMATNB and Nil Ciuró, musical diversity will be one of the highlights of this event.
In addition to the main artists, Sala Barcelona has also included a program of local DJs, who will be in charge of livening up the evening until midnight.
The public will have the opportunity to enjoy a complete musical experience, where they can dance, relax and enjoy live music in a privileged environment.
Sala Barcelona: an exceptional space
The Castell de Montjuïc, with a capacity of up to 400 people, will offer different options to enjoy the concerts in a hybrid way.
Attendees can opt for tables and chairs for a more intimate experience or, if they prefer, they can enjoy the music standing up and let themselves be carried away by the rhythm.
In addition, there will be a gastronomic offer, which will be announced soon through the event’s social networks.
To facilitate access to the venue, Sala Barcelona will provide a shuttle bus service that will take attendees from Castell de Montjuïc to Plaza España at the end of each concert.
In this way, we seek to provide comfort and ease of transportation to attendees.
As for the prices of the performances, the organization has tried to follow a policy of affordable prices. Tickets range from 12 to 18 euros, allowing a wide range of people to enjoy live music in a unique setting.
