The Barcelona-based specialty coffee chain, Syra Coffee, opens new premises and a 1,000 square meter roasting plant in L’Hospitalet.
It is also preparing to open 30 stores, double its workforce (from 75 employees to 150 by the end of the year). It also seeks to establish a presence in cities such as San Sebastian and Bilbao.
This Catalan company offers seasonal specialty coffee. They source their coffee from small farms around the world that sustainably produce coffee that is then roasted in Barcelona.

They affirm that they seek to democratize good coffee in a sustainable and exponential way. For this reason, they moved to a larger space that will help them continue to grow and meet consumer demand.
According to its founder, Yassir Raïs, in this new space “we will be able to grow even more and play a leading role in the best specialty coffee”.
The Catalan company offers its customers different varieties of coffee, depending on the season. One of the most sought after is single origin pure Arabica coffee, 100% traceable and socially and environmentally sustainable.
