Uncle Whiskers
Tío Bigotes has come a long way to be recognized for its delicious Argentine empanadas. They are prepared with carefully selected ingredients to achieve the exact point of traditional Argentinean recipes.
Everything was born trying to preserve the customs of the countryside in Argentina, because for example, they say that it was not easy to find the required cuts of meat in Catalonia. The same happened with empanada covers, as there was no industrial production.
Because of all this background, Tío Bigotes decided to produce the empanadas themselves from tradition, using beef fat instead of pork.
After buying, chopping and melting this fat, they were able to replicate the flavors they missed so much in the empanadas. But the important thing is that the public received them with total acceptance. So they started production at home and after 10 years they now produce more than 100,000 empanadas a month.
The factory is in Sant Feliu de Llobregat and from there they make the empanadas that go to the Tío Bigotes stores distributed throughout Barcelona.
Each empanada is a guarantee of traditional flavor, quality and freshness in your mouth.
