The 80th edition of Barcelona Fashion opens on April 5, 2022 with a spectacular “premiere” at the Convent dels Àngels, called “fashion films” with videos recorded at Macba.
The fashion show will take place from April 5 to 8 and returns after two years of virtuality.
During the opening party of the event there will be screenings of fashion shows recorded in advance in fashion film format.
It was called “premiere” because they are short films where new collections will be presented.
The organizers consider that 2022 will be a year of reflection to determine whether the catwalk bets on the virtual or alternates with face-to-face events.

This year’s Barcelona Fashion will feature 22 designers and brands, mainly women’s fashion.
In addition to the collections, there will also be “fashion thoughts”, videos with the participation of several designers talking about current fashion topics. These include the metaverse and future shopping.
