This season, the Parc d’Atraccions del Tibidabo in Barcelona is getting ready to present an attraction that promises to take adrenaline to the limit: the free fall of Merlí!
This new infrastructure, with an imposing height of 52 meters, offers a unique experience that combines excitement and spectacular panoramic views of Barcelona.
Known as Merlí, this attraction has been carefully designed to lift visitors 500 meters above sea level, giving them a 360-degree perspective of the city before unleashing a thrilling plummet.
The free fall of Merlí on Tibidabo is coming soon.
The name Merlí was born through a contest among the workers of the company that manages the Park. Inspired by the theme and design of the attraction, which simulates a magic wand topped with a star, this name embodies the essence of the experience that awaits those brave enough to try it.
Although the installation of Merlí has been completed, visitors will have to wait until the end of May to experience this exciting adventure. However, the anticipated premiere is not the only novelty that Tibidabo has prepared for this season.
In addition to Merlí, the park has introduced other exciting additions to delight its visitors. Among them is CreaTibi by Lego Education, a space where children can explore their creativity and learn while building with Lego’s iconic plastic pieces.
This initiative offers a perfect combination of fun and education, inspiring children to experiment with science and robotics in a playful and exciting way.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. Tibidabo Park has also renovated its observation decks and improved the terror experience at Hotel 666. It recently opened Space 666, where visitors can interact with the characters of this attraction and capture spooky memories.
