Diversity and Accessibility: Festivals for All

The selection of dates involves careful consideration of diversity and accessibility. Barcelona’s commitment to diversity is visible in the different musical genres that will be presented. From rock, pop, electronica, to jazz and flamenco, there will be something for every music lover.

In addition, accessibility is also a key issue. The authorities have worked to ensure that everyone can enjoy the festivals, regardless of their physical abilities. The necessary adaptations in place ensure that people with disabilities can move freely and enjoy all that these events have to offer.

Boost for the local economy

There is no doubt that these events also represent a significant economic boost for the city. Festivals attract not only music fans, but also tourists who generate revenue for local businesses. Restaurants, hotels, and stores benefit from the influx of excited visitors. In addition, temporary jobs are created that are crucial for many local residents.

Initiatives around these festivals seek to involve the community. From hiring local staff to using local products and services, everything contributes to strengthening the local economy. And, of course, the marketing and promotion of the festivals help put Barcelona on the map as a global destination for music events.

Sustainability: A responsible approach

These days, it’s not enough to simply put on a good show; sustainable practices are a must. The organizers of the evening festivals at Parc del Fòrum have made sustainability a priority. The design of the event has considered reducing environmental impact, from waste management systems to the use of renewable energy.
