Music concerts at Barcelona’s Sant Jordi will break records in 2023. The recent pandemic has made concerts a real and direct source of income for artists. About thirty concerts are coming up in Barcelona.
Most of the concerts will be held at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona and eight of them at the Olympic Stadium.
This Olympic stage will feature:
- Four Coldplay shows in May.
- Two of Bruce Springsteen in April.
- Some of Harry Styles in July.
- Another one from The Weeknd also in July 2023.
This is the general schedule so far. However, it is likely that others will be presented along the way to break concert records in Barcelona.
In fact, these concerts are so eagerly awaited that many have already reserved their tickets. Leisure already deserves to be programmed.
Thirty concerts in Barcelona by 2023
One of the most anticipated presentations will be the presence of Coldplay. This band has the magic of rejuvenating its audience thanks to the new social networks, in particular Tiktok.
It is the news of the year, as he broke records in his tours. And Barcelona will be no exception. They seek to demonstrate in the city that their rock power is still in force.
Another artist that has made an impact is Duki, with the ability to fill two Sant Jordi’s on March 3 and 4, 2023. It is the best example of an artist who, through social networks, can achieve such impact and projection, something that before could only be achieved through traditional media. She is a teenage star.
Another case is Bad Gyal with another sold-out Sant Jordi on February 11, which will add to her popularity within Spain’s borders.
Also the Catalan group Oques Grasses is another young proposal that will fill the Sant Jordi on January 28.
More music in 2023
Other concerts with emblematic artists will adorn the Sant Jordi in a single week.
Three of them in June and in a single week: June 14 The Who; June 16 Maroon and June 5 and 17 Alejandro Sanz.
And what about the talented veteran Elton John who after several postponements due to pandemic will be on May 22 at the Sant Jordi, 22, kicking off the week in which Coldplay will make its only presence in Spain.
With the group formed in London, one can only wonder: how many stadiums would they have filled if they had more dates available on the tour?
These great stars of the eighties and nineties will fill stadiums.
The concerts are coming back. A lot of optimism and anxiety waiting for the dates to arrive soon.
For now on the first day of the year, happy 2023 with music and joy to overflow.
