This is one of the most popular ice cream parlors in Barcelona, thanks to its excellent location and the fact that it is a very cheerful place where they prepare ice cream of unparalleled quality. Lactose-free, gluten-free and vegan options are available. One of our recommendations is the Sicilian style ice cream that comes inside a warm brioche, you will love it!
But you will also find a wide variety of flavors, ranging from the classics such as pistachio and berries, to the more daring ones such as mandarin mint.
2. Manna Gelats (Carrer Banys Nous, 22)
This small ice cream parlor is very easy to get to, just follow the old Roman wall from the Cathedral along Calle de la Paja, and you will immediately see the intersection with Calle Banys Nous. Right there you will see the place with the most delicious signature ice creams.
They have a creamy texture and just the right amount of sweetness, and are perfect because they are not cloying. But we are sorry to tell you that deciding on a flavor is quite a difficult task, because they offer all the traditional ones and others with seasonal fruit.
3. Gocce di latte (Pla de Palau, 4.)
Very close to Santa Maria del Mar and the Fossar de les Moreres in the neighborhood of La Ribera which is also known as the Born. There you will find ice creams with a creamy and very soft texture. We recommend their vegan ice creams and the dark chocolate with salt and oil, it’s from another galaxy!
4. DelaCream (Passeig de Sant Joan, 59 and Enric Granados, 15) two unique ice cream parlors in Barcelona.
This ice cream parlor has two branches, the first on Paseo de San Juan and a store on Enrique Granados Street. And no matter which one you go to, what you can expect is an artisanal ice cream delight. They are made with top quality ingredients and the ones you must try are the seasonal ones, although you can always choose the pistachio one, which is simply delicious.
5. Parallelo Gelato (Carrer Sèneca, 18.)
In this ice cream parlor there are flavors to choose from, there are some very strange ones that taste incredibly delicious. You have to try the dark chocolate Valhrona and the fig, the latter was seasonal, perhaps it has already been replaced by another equally or more delicious.
