What better plan for these dates than to take the Barcelona Christmas Tour, touring the beautiful illuminated streets of the city for Christmas aboard the Bus Turístic.
The route returns with a 90-minute ride where you can travel comfortably on the upper deck of the bus. From there you can enjoy the lights and all the colorful buildings of the city and the most emblematic streets of Barcelona.
The Barcelona Christmas Tour
2022 is the fourth consecutive year that the Tour will be held. It will last until December 30 to make magical tours of the city that include, among other places, Passeig de Gràcia and Plaça Catalunya.
The Bus Turístic is a service offered by Transports Municipals de Barcelona, TMB, Turisme de Barcelona and the Barcelona City Council.
You will also be able to enjoy the Catalan Christmas traditions through the explanation given by the guides in Catalan, English or Spanish during the 90 minutes of the tour.
Barcelona Christmas Tour departures are scheduled at two times: at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., every day except December 25.
On December 24, departure is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. only.
The starting point is Plaça de Catalunya at the Barcelona Bus Turístic stop, right in front of the El Triangle shopping center.

- Passeig de Gràcia (Casa Batlló, Pedrera)
- Sant Antoni Maria Claret (Hospital de Sant Pau), Rosselló, Cartagena streets
- Sardenya (Sagrada Família),
- Gran Via, Castillejos, Meridiana Avenue (Teatre Nacional),
- Almogàvers, Passeig Lluís Companys (Arc de Triomf),
- Paseo Picasso, Marqués de l’Argentera Avenue, Paseo Colom,
- Portal de la Pau (monument to Columbus), Paral-lel, Ronda Sant Pau,
- Roger de Llúria, Gran Via, Plaça Universitat, Aragó, Balmes and Pelai
- Return to Plaça Catalunya.
Due to the works that are being advanced, this year the bus does not pass through Via Laietana.
In addition, to make the experience more pleasant, the ride is complemented with a musical ambience through a playlist of Christmas songs, created by TMB’s Spotify profile.
Please note that, as in public transport, the Barcelona Christmas Tour is also governed by the rules of hygiene and prevention of contagion that seek to prevent the spread of covid.
It is therefore mandatory to wear a mask on board the bus for your safety and that of everyone else.
