A new edition of the Summer Festival arrives at the Diagonal Mar shopping center in Barcelona from July 1. It is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of shows with music, magic and lots of fun. The program is aimed at different audiences, who can come to the Terrassa del Mar to spend an unforgettable time this summer.
La Terrassa del Mar is located on the top floor of the Diagonal Mar shopping center. The 2022 edition of the Summer Festival will be held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in July, with an innovative and varied agenda of activities that promises a great deal of entertainment for young and old. Friday for the whole family
The program for every Friday in July will feature musicals by Damaris Gelabert, Gisela and Nerea Rodríguez. The magic show of Jordi Pota, who will delight the audience, will also be present.
In this edition of the Summer Festival, Damaris Gelabert’s musical has a proposal to get the whole family dancing to the rhythm of funk, disco, salsa, country, polka and much more. The show to be presented on July 1 and 29 at 7:30 p.m., entitled
Mou El Cos
features the singer Julen, Laia -Damaris’ daughter- and the choreographer and tap dancer Clara Martínez.
On the other hand, Gisela -the Barcelona star of
Operación Triunfo
– will delight its audience on July 8 at 7:30 p.m. with a varied repertoire of songs particularly based on Disney movies. Gisela has a long career as the lead voice in unforgettable films such as
Frozen
y
Beauty and the Beast
.
On the other hand, on July 22 at 18:30, the Summer Festival will feature the musical performance of the young Barcelona singer Nerea Rodríguez, who also rose to fame thanks to the program
Operación Triunfo
. She is the star of the musical

since 2018.
Finally, the magic will be performed by Jordi Pota, renowned magician and humorist, who will perform on July 15 at 7:30 pm. In this opportunity, Jordi presents his show No hay demà!The event promises to entertain everyone present, as well as to remind us of the importance of living in the present.

Monologue Saturdays
The Saturday program of the Summer Festival in Terrassa del Mar is dedicated to humorous monologues. On this occasion, the public over 18 years old will be able to have fun with the different proposals of artists such as Txabi Franquesa, Sil de Castro, Toni Moog, Victor Parrado and Charlie Pee.
Txabi Franquesa is a versatile actor, comedian, reporter, presenter and screenwriter. His performance has made him a classic of The comedy club. Txabi’s proposal -to be presented on July 2- has an acid touch that promises to leave no one indifferent.
Actress, master of ceremonies and comedian Sil de Castro will also offer a funny monologue on July 9. Sil’s training is focused on acting, dance, theater, clown and humor monologues, which gives him great versatility in the formats of the works he presents.
Toni Moog, another Summer Festival headliner, has had a meteoric career on stage since 2004. The views of his monologues on YouTube exceed three million. On July 16, the audience of Terrassa del Mar will be able to laugh non-stop with Toni’s witticisms and his experience testing dating apps.
Victor Parrado is another protagonist of the monologues of this edition of the festival. His fresh, casual and natural proposal will be presented on July 23 and is sure to bring smiles to the audience.
Finally, the renowned Catalan comedian Charlie Pee will present a monologue on July 30 in which she openly laughs at the miseries that have happened in her life.
All monologues will be presented at 8:00 pm.

Sundays of music, circus and theater
For every Sunday in July, Summer Festival in Terrassa del Mar has a highly entertaining proposal. Circus shows, humor, music and much more is what the artists bring for every Sunday at 7:30 pm. La Fabulosa Comèdies, Planeta Impro, 2princesesbarbudes and Zigurat Band are in charge of entertaining and delighting the whole family this summer at the Diagonal Mar shopping center.
The proposal of La Fabulosa Comèdies promises all the fun of a circus show, where two clowns are in charge of the show. The play – to be presented on July 3 – is based on the first explorers who reached the South Pole. It will be an afternoon of laughter for everyone.
Planeta Impro, with an interactive humor show, will entertain the public on July 10 and 24. As its name indicates, this is a proposal in which improvisation is the protagonist and it is the audience who will decide everything.
On July 24, 2princesesbarbudes will take the audience back to eight thousand years before Christ: attendees will be able to enjoy pop songs full of humor and played with toy instruments. This is a fresh work in which the artists will explain to the public what life was like for the first inhabitants of the planet.
The Zigurat Band will close the festival on July 31 with its show
