The library card can provide you with services you don’t even know about. You can request it from the web, it is free and personal and can be used in public libraries in Barcelona and throughout Catalonia.

- You can have access to 2,300 movie titles from Filmin’s catalog to watch for free in “streaming”, through the website

- Short films, concerts, movies and documentaries are available. You can watch eight a month and borrow two at a time.
- Enjoy discounts on theater, movies, music. The important thing is to check beforehand if the place where you are going to go to any of these shows, offers you the discounts of the card.
- You can get a 5% discount on the purchase of books in many of the city’s bookstores, such as Casa del Libro and Librería Inglesa or Calders, among others.
- It allows you a reduced rate to enter private museums with discounts between 20% and 25%.
- If you want to read “La Vanguardia” you can do it for free in PDF from your device wherever you are. A subscription to a digital newspaper costs about 6 euros per month.
- You can request interlibrary loan of books from any library in Catalonia (up to two books online). The book is then delivered to your neighborhood.
