With the arrival of summer, Barcelona City Council prepares to offer its annual program of children’s activities, known as ‘T’estiu molt’.
This program, which will run from June 22 to September 6, 2024, will offer more than 1,000 activities for children and adolescents between the ages of 1 and 17, with the goal of providing fun and educational options during school vacations.
The registration period for ‘T’estiu molt’ will begin on Tuesday, April 2, coinciding with the end of Easter Week. Registrations will be made through the web page of each activity, although some entities may open the deadline later.
It is important to note that some activities may vary in their details, so it is recommended to verify the updated information at 010, the toll-free telephone number for citizen assistance.
Payment and registration to participate in the children’s activities of the Barcelona City Council
To formalize registration, follow the procedure indicated by the organizing entity, which generally offers the option of online pre-registration.
Those who wish to apply for a grant to participate in the activities should contact the entity at the time of pre-registration to obtain the activity code necessary for the grant application process.
Regarding payment, users have the option of paying the amount of the activity in installments, paying a maximum of 50% at the time of registration and the rest as determined by the entity, always before the start of the activity.
In case of applying for a grant, the entity may require an advance payment of 10% of the total price, which must be paid within 10 working days.
It is important to note that the organizing entities reserve the right to cancel an activity if the minimum number of participants is not covered.
In case of cancellation, registered families will be notified at least 15 days prior to the start of the activity, and will be guaranteed referral to another activity of proximity within the program ‘T’estiu molt’.
Inclusive activities
In addition, all program activities must guarantee the inclusion of children and adolescents with disabilities, providing the necessary resources for their participation.
The entities are obliged to reserve 5% of places for the inclusion of these children, and it is recommended to contact the Municipal Institute for People with Disabilities to apply for grants to promote their inclusion.
T’estiu molt’ offers a wide variety of activities, from camps and sports workshops to language courses and family activities.
With the participation of 270 entities and more than a thousand programmed activities, the Barcelona City Council strives to provide an enriching and fun experience for all children and teenagers in the city during the summer vacations.
