The magical world of Pixar materializes in Barcelona with the opening of ‘Pixar World’, an immersive exhibition that promises to transport visitors to the most iconic settings of Pixar films.
This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to relive and experience the adventures of these beloved characters in life-size. With an area of 3,000 square meters, the exhibition will be located in the outdoor parking lot of the Westfield La Maquinista Shopping Center and will open its doors on September 26.
An immersive journey through Pixar World
‘Pixar World’ is no ordinary exhibition; it is an immersive experience that spans decades of cinematic history, from the release of ‘Toy Story’ in 1995 to the recent ‘Elemental’ in 2023. Visitors will be able to visit different thematic areas:
Toy Story: Andy’s room
The exhibition offers the opportunity to enter Andy’s famous room, where visitors will feel like one of the toys in the collection. Here, they will be able to interact with iconic characters like Woody and Buzz Lightyear, and relive some of the most memorable scenes from the ‘Toy Story’ saga.
Finding Nemo: the deep ocean
For sea lovers, the section dedicated to ‘Finding Nemo’ promises to be an unforgettable underwater adventure. Visitors will be able to walk through the coral and explore the home of Nemo, Dory and Marlin, feeling as if they were really at the bottom of the ocean.
Cars: Radiator Springs
In the dedicated ‘Cars’ area, attendees will make a stop at the famous Flo’s V8 Café in Radiator Springs. Here, you can recharge your batteries and meet the inhabitants of this picturesque town while exploring the machine shops and other scenes from the movie.
Up: Carl Fredricksen’s house
Another highlight is the recreation of Carl Fredricksen’s house from ‘Up’. Visitors will be able to stroll through the garden and discover the most emblematic objects of the film, while enjoying peculiar views from the windows of the house.
Coco: the land of the dead
‘Pixar World’ also includes a section dedicated to ‘Coco’, where visitors can traverse the colorful world of the living and the dead. Accompanied by characters such as Michael and Dante, this area promises to be a culturally rich and emotionally resonant experience.
Ratatouille: Linguini’s cuisine
For food lovers, the area dedicated to ‘Ratatouille’ will be a delight. Visitors will be able to explore Linguini’s kitchen and experience the culinary magic that Remy brings to life.
Lasting approximately 55 to 60 minutes, each visit is filled with opportunities to interact with the sets and characters from the films.
Tickets will be available from June 4, with prices starting at 12.90 euros.
